1. Work all
aspects of your business. |
One of the great things
about this business is its versatility. If you are
diversified, you will be in better shape when some parts
of the business slack. These aspects include: home
shows, booths, book fairs, web sales, school and library
sales, and direct sales.
|
2. Keep home shows as the backbone
of your business. |
This is the best way to
meet lots of people from different groups and give them
a wonderful introduction to UBAH. Never forget to do the
customer survey and then make sure you follow up all the
leads (no matter how tiresome or far-fetched they seem).
|
3. RECRUIT, RECRUIT, RECRUIT!! |
You love doing this,
right? Give others the opportunity to decide that it
might be for them, too. It is so much fun to share UBAH
with other people. It also greatly increases the bottom
line. You can either work 10 times as hard, or share the
business with ten other people (much more manageable).
So, show people that this is easy, profitable and fun;
then, invite them to do it too.
When I was a teenager, my
mother used to tell me to get off the phone. I’m
telling you to get on the phone. Call everyone you know.
Ask people to have a home show to show their friends
these awesome books. Ask people if they are interested
in making extra money, having quality books for their
children, all while working from home. If they say no,
ask for referrals.
Start calling schools, libraries
and day cares. Begin with places that you know someone,
or have a referral. After that, make cold calls. Go to
your upline for help on what to say.
|
6. The 3 A’s: Advertise, Attitude
& Approach. |
Advertise your business.
Get out to places there are parents and talk about it as
much as possible. Ask people what they do, because then
they will ask you. Be prepared with your 30 second
commercial. Have a wonderful attitude about UBAH. If you
are excited, other people will see that and want to be a
part of that positive feeling. Approach people by
stretching your comfort zone. Be confident in what you
are doing and people will be pleased that you approached
them about UBAH.
Decide what you want out
of your business. Then set goals for yourself; make them
difficult, but not impossible. Figure out (with your
supervisor’s help, if need be) EXACTLY how to achieve
your goals. Then, set more goals.
This may sound
overwhelming, but this business is not a get-rich-quick
scheme. However, it can be VERY, VERY PROFITABLE. It
takes consistent work and recruiting. Build your own
team and keep your business going and you will be amazed
at the potential results you can get from working at
home.
If you can achieve these things, this could be you!!!
