The
recently completed Advanced Leadership Retreat was
truly spectacular with many new announcements,
including changing our name to Usborne Books & More.
Our new name better reflects our current vision and
mission and was approved by Usborne Publishing.
Recently, Educational Development
Corporation completed the acquisition of Kane/Miller
Publishing,
a well-known, international publisher of children’s
titles with over 20 years of experience whose
products will enhance the existing product lines of
Educational Development Corporation. While
originally acquired for the retail division, the
products were presented to the Ambassador's and
Presidents Club at ALR and they requested that they
be presented to all the ALR attendees. The
presentation was made by Kira Lynn, Editor of
Kane/Miller Publishing and was received with great
enthusiasm and the decision was made to add the
Kane/Miller line to the existing products of Usborne
Books & More.
Consequently, the product line will be added to
OrderPro and your e-commerce websites. All K/M products will be applicable
to our existing programs including book fairs, RFTS,
and LFL. They will also be subject to the same
commission, bonus and overrides as our existing
products. A new catalog is being created and will be
available soon.
It is truly an exciting time at the Home Office
of Usborne Books & More.
